“ It sucks that this had to happen to you, I am so sorry but you are so, so brave and so, so strong and I know you can get through this. We can do it together, okay? I’ll be thinking of you and sending you love & prayers every day, and next time we see each other you’ll be front row at my concert. Deal?

“ Kloss surrounds herself with talented people who inspire her and keep her focused, from fashion editor Derek Blasberg… to singer Taylor Swift, whom she recently took on a road trip from Los Angeles to Big Sur. ‘That was so much fun,’ Kloss says, twirling her wrists with excitement. ‘We’re both in our twenties, we’re normal girls, and it’s nice to do normal things now and then.’ Armed with a good playlist (Jay Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna) and gas-station snacks, they ‘got lost, stopped for photos [all on Instagram], and went to bakeries’. Swift, Kloss can attest, ‘is an excellent driver’.
